The Hutt City Council provides a huge range of services to residents and visitors to the area, some of which are required by law, and others that are solely for entertainment or enjoyment. These include water supply, roads, parks, museums, emergency management, and promoting the social, cutural, environmental and economic well-being of the City.

The Problem: Hutt City’s Social Development Unit supports organisations in the delivery of social services. It is critical to ensure that the service organisations are able to deliver to their clients.

The Solution: Hutt City Council staff worked with QLBS.com to design, test, and refine criteria that worked for them. Two distinct criteria were built, one to assess the capability of social services delivery organisations, another to assess the level of importance of a specific social need.

The Result: The assessments are currently being conducted across a range of organisations and we look forward to the results.
